Marble You Can See Through

Witness the interior of the Beinecke Rare Books & Manuscripts Library at Yale. The marble panels that constitute the walls are 1.25 inches thick. That's something like this: --------------------. Thin enough for light to filter through them and create a kaleidoscopic event.
